FAQs

What Is On-Demand App Development?

On-demand app development is building a two-sided marketplace app that connects buyers and providers in real time, with matching, in-app payments and both a customer-facing and provider-facing experience. Syndell builds these for delivery, logistics, service-provider and rental marketplaces.

How Much Does On-Demand App Development Cost?

Cost depends on how many sides of the marketplace you need built, the complexity of your matching logic, payment splitting requirements and which platforms you target. Share your project details and Syndell will provide a scoped estimate.

How Long Does It Take to Build an On-Demand Marketplace App?

Timeline depends on marketplace complexity, real-time requirements and how many user roles need their own app experience. Syndell delivers in agile sprints so you see a working build at each stage, and provides a realistic estimate once requirements are scoped.

Can You Build a Doctor, Delivery or Logistics On-Demand App Specifically?

Yes. Syndell builds on-demand apps across verticals including on-demand healthcare/doctor apps, delivery and logistics marketplaces, and service-provider booking apps, each with its own real-time matching and payment logic.

How Do You Handle Payments Between Two Sides of a Marketplace?

Syndell integrates split-payment and escrow systems (such as Stripe Connect) so funds route correctly between customers and providers, with payouts handled inside the app.

Do You Build Both the Customer App and the Provider App?

Yes. On-demand marketplaces need two distinct experiences, Syndell builds and QAs both the buyer-facing and provider-facing apps as one connected system.

Is My Marketplace Idea and Code Kept Confidential?

Yes. Ask our team about the specific confidentiality and code-ownership terms for your project.

Do You Build On-Demand Apps for Businesses Outside the USA?
