About Little West
Little West is a cold-pressed juice brand offering 100% juice blends, cleanses, and detox kits made from West Coast produce, cold pressed and bottled within 48 hours of harvest. The brand also partners with the Farmlink Project to rescue surplus farm produce with every order.
The Challenge
Cold-pressed juice sells at a real premium over grocery store juice, and that price only makes sense if the freshness and quality story actually lands. A few specific problems needed solving:
“Fresh” is an overused, easily-doubted claim in this category, and customers needed something more concrete than the word itself to believe it
Most customers arrive with a specific wellness goal in mind – energy, detox, immunity – rather than a specific flavor preference, and the site needed to meet them there
Subscription commerce carries real hesitation around recurring charges, which needed to be addressed directly rather than left as a source of doubt
Our Approach
01
Turn "Fresh" Into a Visible Process, Not an Adjective
Rather than relying on the word “fresh,” the actual 48-hour farm-to-bottle timeline was built out as a concrete, step-by-step process a visitor could see – since a claim you can show is more convincing than one you just state.
02
Sell by Wellness Goal First, Ingredient Second
Most customers already know what outcome they want – more energy, better digestion, immune support – before they know which specific juice gets them there. The shopping structure was built around those goals, with ingredients as supporting detail rather than the primary entry point.
03
Remove Subscription Hesitation Before It Becomes a Reason Not to Buy
Recurring-charge anxiety is a well-known barrier in subscription commerce. Pause, skip, and cancel controls were made prominent and simple rather than buried in account settings where hesitation could quietly turn into abandonment.
04
Let Real Numbers Build Trust Instead of Adjectives
Rather than vague sustainability language, the site surfaces concrete, specific numbers – pounds of food rescued, families fed – tied to an actual named partner organization, since specific numbers are harder to dismiss than a general claim.

Yes. If your product relies on a trust claim like freshness, or if subscription hesitation is costing you customers, Syndell can build a Shopify store that makes your process and your controls visible instead of buried.

Kayme does the hard part well – designing dresses people genuinely want, with a loyal following built over time. The backend wasn’t carrying its weight: Magento couldn’t scale without inviting fresh problems, and orders had to be manually reformatted for the shipping company by hand, every single time.
Dollar Blinds does the hard part well – precision, made-to-measure window shades built to each customer’s exact specifications. The checkout wasn’t carrying its weight: Shopify’s native cart had no concept of configuration-based pricing, and multi-panel products couldn’t be split, priced, or mirrored correctly for a real order.

Rollen does the hard part well – ethically sourced fine jewelry and a full lab-grown diamond line across rings, earrings, and a men’s collection. The website wasn’t carrying its weight: jewelry buyers expect to touch a piece before buying, and the old site gave no real reason to trust a purchase sight unseen.
Business & Pleasure Co. does the hard part well – premium beach and outdoor furniture, including a Jenni Kayne collaboration, sold to retail and trade buyers. The website wasn’t carrying its weight: some products offered 200+ fabric combinations, leaving customers with decision overload instead of a confident choice.
Enwolt does the hard part well – an authorized EU distributor of ENGWE and VARUN e-bikes, with free shipping and a one-year warranty. The website wasn’t carrying its weight: customers had real unanswered questions on legality, range, and charging, and Enwolt needed its own credibility independent of the manufacturer names.
