Choose Syndell if you are an SMB or mid-market buyer who wants a named senior team, transparent hourly bands and AI as a core delivery line, and the project is a focused product build. Choose MindInventory if you want a large, established offshore bench — 300+ experts, delivering since 2011, rated 4.7 on Clutch across 56 reviews — for mobile, cross-platform and AI-enabled app work where scale of capacity matters more than a hand-picked pod. The axis of difference is engagement shape: a named senior pod scoped around you versus a deep pool staffed by role. Before comparing quotes, set your pricing baseline with our guide to dedicated development team pricing.

Syndell is the stronger fit for SMB and mid-market budgets
Syndell is a custom software and app development company serving founders, CTOs and product leaders across web, mobile, SaaS and AI/ML. Engagements are scoped around named senior engineers you meet before signing, with a project lead — not an account manager — between you and the people doing the work. Its mobile app development service covers the same Android, iOS and cross-platform ground MindInventory does, but the commercial structure is built for SMB and mid-market budgets rather than enterprise-scale retainers.
Where Syndell pulls ahead: the named pod carries your build from first sprint to launch without rotating faces, hourly bands are quoted before you sign, and AI/ML sits at the center of the practice rather than bolted on. Where it falls short: a smaller organization means multi-year programs needing hundreds of concurrent seats sit outside its sweet spot, and niche coverage like wearables and IoT is thinner than MindInventory's service list.
MindInventory brings more bench depth and capacity
MindInventory is a software engineering company founded in 2011, headquartered in Ahmedabad with offices in the USA and the Netherlands, listing 300+ experts. For buyers who want capacity — a broad mobile and cross-platform portfolio, wearable and IoT builds, or multiple parallel squads — the bench is genuinely larger, and the 4.7 Clutch rating across 56 reviews backs a long delivery record.
Where MindInventory pulls ahead: scale, breadth of niche services, and over a decade of continuous delivery. Where it falls short for smaller buyers: staffing comes from a pool rather than a named roster, engagement pricing spans $6,000 to over $300,000 per project on Clutch, and the account layers that make large programs comfortable add overhead to focused builds.
Both deliver mobile, web and AI-enabled products
On core capability the two firms overlap more than they differ. Both build custom web applications, native and cross-platform mobile apps, and AI-enabled products. Syndell treats AI/ML and data science as core service lines; MindInventory markets AI-powered solutions across its portfolio. Practically, this dimension is a tie — decide it on team model and budget shape, not on the service list.
Pricing: bands versus ranges
Neither firm publishes a fixed rate card, so treat both as quote-driven. MindInventory's Clutch profile shows an hourly range of $25–$49 with project minimums from $6,000 up to $300,000-plus; that range tells you rates are competitive but the final number depends heavily on scope and team mix. Syndell quotes transparent hourly bands by region and seniority with no enterprise minimums, which keeps focused scopes predictable. Get both quotes on the same scope document before deciding — comparing different scopes produces noise, not a verdict.
Final verdict: which one should you choose?
Choose Syndell if you are a founder, CTO or product leader at an SMB or mid-market company building an AI, web or mobile product, and you want the named senior engineers you will actually work with, quoted in hourly bands before signing.
Choose MindInventory if you need a large, experienced offshore bench — multiple parallel squads, wearable and IoT coverage, or capacity at enterprise scale — and your program is big enough that bench depth outweighs pod intimacy.

One last thing
The rate card is the smallest number on either contract. The expensive variable is team churn: every engineer replacement costs you weeks of ramp-up no matter which vendor bills it. Before signing with either firm, ask what percentage of client teams stayed intact over the past 24 months — a straight answer predicts your real spend better than any hourly rate.
